The WESTAR-55 was a Heavy Blaster Pistol that saw limited production and distribution about the galaxy following the end of the Clone wars. Designed to support higher energy output, yet employing a sleeker style than some other, blockier heavy blasters, the WESTAR-55 looked to be a sure thing. The Mandalorians were targeted as the primary consumer group for the 55, but unfortunately, the Empire cracked down on the culture, resulting in the 55 becoming a loss for the Westar Corporation.

Slimmer than some of it’s counterparts of the day, the WESTAR-55 Heavy Blaster Pistol was meant to be a sidearm that was easily drawn and able to deliver high-output damage. The 55 drew some of it’s design inspiration from the WESTAR-34 Blaster Pistol, including it’s sleeker appearance.
