Shadow Wing

The Harlequin Zero was an establishment within the Port District of Aerelon City, on the planet Aerelon. While the main floor of the establishment served as a seedy spacer pub, the upper floor was closer to that of an upper-class night club. While it wasn’t solidly confirmed, the Zero was suspected of being a primary meeting place for the criminal organization, Shadow Wing.

Located in a lower-income Port District neighborhood near the main starport, the seemily riotous lower level attracted a steady clientele of itinerant freighter pilots and dock workers, as well as oddball assortment of regulars. Many workers from the port area came for some juri juice, lum and ale, or the popular nerf sliders. Also served was fried nerf steak, protato wedges, and pickled gartro eggs. The food was oily and unhealthy, but also cheap and filling, while the alcohol was strong and potent.

The upper levels of the establishment required special permission to access. Average workers and visiting spacers were rarely allowed above the second story of the building. Frequent guests of the owner, Cristin Maghnis, were offered entry and treated to finery far better than the first level offered.

Harlequin Zero Second level

The exclusive level of the Zero

The building which housed the Zero also contained two levels used as offices, a basement and sub-basement for storage, and several levels of apartments. It was rumored that the building also had secret access points that connected to maintenance corridors and shafts which led away from the building and deep into the lower level slum areas.

Stringer and a few other employees of Shadow Wing were commonly found hanging out on the first level of the building. Those that had access to the upper levels usually preferred to hang out on the first level due to the “real” environment which it provided.
