I'll be totally honest... I expected this part to wrap up the Flesh and Blood chapter. But, as I had thrown a curve ball at my players, they pitched one right back at me towards the end.
Picking up where we left off in Part 1, the characters witness the showdown between Mina Thayne and the Second Sister (aka Becca Gellar/Lady Danara). Thoom takes Arya and Anna, going to the back of the Harlequin Zero to find Eza Dorne (Arya's adopted mother). Diana decides it's her mandate to try and face the Inquisitor by assisting Mina. While Diana takes care of 3 Death Troopers (who appeared more as bumbling Stormtroopers), Danara and Mina trade some blows. The former Guardian and the Inquisitor's battle ends very quickly. Danara strikes, severing …Read more >
I've got to get this down while it's still very fresh. Flesh and Blood Part 1, or should I call it GM dropping some huge reveals?
The crew of the Corsair returns to Phantom Station and finds a huge payday for the loot that was grabbed off of the Imperial ship. Graydon revealed something of himself to Arya and Diana, wanting to appropriately begin training them. From there, the crew leaves for Shadix to pick up Alfie Holden and his compatriots. While on Shadix, near the Temple of Kooroo, Arya had a vision/feeling on home being threatened by a dark, familiar presence. Almost on top of that, the group discovered the Book of the Grey, a ancient tome rumored to be a book relating to a sect of Force-users known as the Grey Circle.
Diana is in…Read more >
So now the latest session-
After finding out that the Empire has placed galactic bounties on the PCs' group, CJ offers them a job with Triple Star Shipping. They all become the crew of the Corsair, under Captain Sage Domarco. Their first run looks easy... Take cargo to Darthin and drop it off.
Enroute to Darthin, the ship encounters a mass shadow and is pulled out of hyperspace. It's a derelict Acclamator cruiser. Well, recently derelict. They decide to board and find that the crew is pretty much dead. They rescue three prisoners from the ship: Tallan Marek, Jayna Eclipse, and Anna Verkaik. They also encounter creatures (xenomorphs) that the Imps were trying to weaponize. The Imps were kind of successful, but it backfire…Read more >
I just realized I was way behind on recording where things are at with the group in the game sessions. So, I'm going to do a couple "catch-up" posts.
"Flight from Paradise"
Not really a flight and it wasn't paradise. So Diana, Thoom, and Arya have to be smuggled off of Aerelon after seriously "frelling" up some Imperials and rescuing Hope from Project: Harvest. Mack and Rocky end up taking the three, along with Hope, her mother Sola, Kylana, and NT to the Manchi Sector, where they wind up on Phantom Station. There, they encounter Sage, "Jacen Cole" and CJ Morgan. Jacen discovers that four from the group are Force-sensitive.
And that's about the gist of it.Read more >
Good day, aye... Hello from the great white north! It's plenty snowy here and makes me think that I was transported to Canada somehow. What the hell? It's March! The snow should be disappearing, not accumulating.
I'm just finishing watch the Rebels series finale. Not what I expected after I started watching the show. It was cool to see where the show ended up from where it began. I'm very curious to see what the guys over at Disney have in store for us next.
That brings me to my ramble for this entry. Similarities to my Bloodline story and Rebels. Before you start yelling at me, I know that I used some very typical archetypes when I started writing the characters for Bloodlines, way back, over on the "Of Blood and Honor" wikia. S…Read more >
The gangs all here! This first, combined session of the rebooted Bloodlines campaign found three unlikely heroes on the planet, Aerelon, inside the Engstrom Trust territory. Arya Dorne is a teen with Force powers, Diana is a survivor from Order 66, and Thoom is this mountain of a man that's escaped Hutt slavery. Right off the bat, the group is brought together inside the Harlequin Zero, the defacto headquarters for the Shadow Wing crime syndicate. Outside, the Imperials have shown up to abduct a young girl, Hope, that they learned had potential in the Force. After Hope's father is killed by a Stormtrooper, the party begins to make life terrible for the Imperials. Even when back-up arrived, the trio still ended up forcing the surviving…Read more >
The first adventure in the Bloodlines Campaign reboot was more of an introduction for two new players into the fold. The characters Diana Price and Thoom were introduced. Meeting on Mon Gazza, the PCs had to fend off some Hutt thugs attempting to apprehend Thoom and his friend, al'Fez'zik , to take them back to the Hutt they escaped from. The trio eventually gained transport to Aerelon via Arryn Korr and hs first mate, Skye Morgan. From there, the stage was set...Read more >
